I´m still in Montañita but staying in a hostel further down the coast about 4km away from el centro. The past three days have been intense but I have my PADI license now so its all good. Its amazing under the sea - seen a massive turtle, scorpion fish, stingrays, crabs, big and small eels and loads of colourful fish that im not even gonna try and remember.
Montañita was heaving before NYE!! There were SO many toursits and all the little streets were rammed. Theres nothing to do here and this place lives off tourists.
Leaving tomorrow for Cuenca. 5am bus. fun.

I have been keeping up to date with your travels, just havn't been bothered to comment!! I'm in Malta at the mo working for 3 months, so we're both avoiding the british winter!! I looked into diving too, untill someone told me that they killed the biggest great white off the coast of Malta not that llong ago, so there goes that activity!!
